Can you rearrange tiles on the new Fitbit update?

I'm very unhappy with the last update because on the main screen I always looked at my steps first and then sleep etc. You can't rearrange the icons for your life style and have to go by the new preset ones. Is there any way to arrange the icons to your liking?

  • Thank you for all and any help.

Hi there, @RotaAB. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I truly appreciate that you've taken the time to come here and share your thoughts about the new Fitbit app.

Please bear in mind there's no way to revert to the old Fitbit app version. Nevertheless, I'd like to invite you to take a look at this post to get the most out of the new Fitbit app.

Regarding your inquiry, as @MarkMM has mentioned, you can rearrange tiles on the new Fitbit app. As he also shared with you, you can add or hide stat tiles by following the steps below:

  1. On the Today tab, tap the pencil tile
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add > tap Add. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

@RotaAB Hi. Yes you can rearrange the order. Click on the pencil twice. You can also add and remove, or move items up or down below the main display.

During the update I must have chosen Improve Heart Health as my focus.  I want Sleep and Activity to come first but I can’t move anything above Heart.  How do I change  focus or move Heart down?

See my reply to @MarkMM .  I don’t see how I change Focus from Improve Heart to Sleep for instance.  Can’t move anything above the current Focus (Heart) which takes up almost a whole screen

@DonO on the app screen. Click the pen/pencil. Next screen is customize today,  set your focus. Click the pen again and you can change each icon. Click mertic one and change it to sleep if you want sleep to be the biggest top icon. You can change the other 3 metrics as well.

Got it!  I had not noticed you can scroll right on focus to change it.
