Can you use only Wifi to receive phone notifications?

Can You Connect A Fitbit Versa OR Ionic To Wifi To Receive Phone Notifications Without A Bluetooth Connection?

Im a waiter and i leave my phone in the lounge (too far for bluetooth) and i was wondering if there was any way of still be able to get smartphone notifications on my wrist?

The Versa and Ionic will only use WiFi for quicker app downloads/updates, firmware updates and the transfer of personal music to the device. Bluetooth will be used for everything else.

No, I am pretty sure you cant do that. They need to be within bluetooth range (about 20 feet I believe)
