Cannot add Versa Lite to Family account

Hello, we bought my 10 year old a Versa Lite for Christmas. I set up a family account and added him as a member. When I attempt to sync the Versa Lite to the app on his account, it only gives me the Ace & Ace 2 as options and not the Versa Lite.

 

I’m guessing it’s because the Versa Lite isn’t a “kids” Fitbit?

Unfortunately only Ace and Ace 2 can be used in family accounts, and under age 13 (in US) cannot have own accounts.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
