Cannot get messages or emails on my Versa 2

I am really disappointed not to be able to set up messages on my versa 2 I’ve followed all the instructions and had no luck previously had a very cheap tracker which worked fine but upgraded to Fitbit and feel cheated

@Lolaput, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not receiving text messages. I totally understand how you feel about this.

 

I would like to know what is the brand and model of your phone.

 

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if the notifications issue gets fixed.

My phone is an iPhone 6s and it’s is updated to iOS 13 - i followed all the
instructions on the link on u tube and it still doesn’t work
It’s v disappointing especially as this was an upgrade from a cheap tracker
which worked fine for messages and email

Amazon exchanged the Fitbit and the replacement worked immediately

So obviously the first one was faulty
