I just purchased a new versa and I have gone through every option and for some unknown reason I cannot get music to transfer to it. It synchs properly with the app and through my phone and when I click on Personal Music it just hangs on the screen trying to find the watch and the watch appears to be connected and waiting.
What has been done?
- Both the PC and the watch are connecting to the same WiFi SSID with no security...
- All other wireless devices in the house have absolutely no issues connecting to WiFi.
- Bluetooth is shut off on the phone and I have also followed the instructions listed to synch the watch and then shut off Bluetooth on the PC.
-Firewall has been turned off on the PC.
-Network mode has been switched to PRIVATE.
- Watch is connected to the charger when trying to transfer music.
It is almost as if the watch connects for a brief moment to the network and then drops. I was seeing this when going into settings/about and then watching the WiFi status go from off to getting an IP and right back to off.....
So far I have invested a couple of days worth of trouble shooting, hours of research and also returned the original watch thinking it was defective....
Is there a fix for this??? I'm ready to return the watch and wash my hands of this... Why is it so convoluted to get it connected to transfer data to it??

Forgot to mention that I have also shut off the constant synching as per some posts found that referenced shutting that off helped. That did not help....

I'm having all of these same issues. Now.. my Fitbit wont even connect to my phone.. and I am having trouble getting it to receive notifications. So frusturating.

No updates or information? Seems like all of the posts I have found and information I could dig up either don't exactly cover this issue or what has been found.. doesn't work.

Well it got returned today.... what a waste of time and effort. It had potential but fell very short....

I am having the same issue. Frustrating.
