Cant connect my new fitbit versa

It started out working well. I connected to my versa and started the firmware update to connect it to my phone. Then I connected my bluetooth speaker by accident. At that time the download stopped and would not restart. I deleted the versa from my list thinking it would let me start over new but now it is stuck on the loading screen and my bluetooth cannot connect to it at all. I deleted the Fitbit app and restarted my phone, reloaded the fitbit app with no success of fixing the problem. Any ideas on other things I can try??? This is very frustrating.
