Cant find smart plug

Hello,

I recently got the versa 2 in Canada and am trying to use the Alexa app to use smart plugs/lights in my house. I have everything logged in seemingly but Alexa is saying it doesn't find any devices under my account. I'm thinking that my versa Alexa might be logging into an Amazon.com account while my Alexa app is being tied to Amazon.ca. 

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.

As long as you logged into your Alexa account,, you should be fine. 

 

Try asking the same way you would ask while using the Alexa app on the phone. 

I know people that control their heater and lights from the wrist.

Hi rich,

I've been trying several ways to do it, none have worked. not sure where the problem is but it's very frustrating considering this is the main feature I chose the versa 2 for.

Hi @Kevinjomo 

Are you 100% sure you have the smart plugs setup correctly and know what you named them. For example, each smart plug should have a unique name that is recognized by Alexa. Can you see the smart plugs listed on the Alexa app on your phone? If you can't see them, then they haven't been configured correctly for Alexa to communicate with them. I hope that helps.
