I noticed a few days ago that the settings app on the versa has disappeared. I have restarted the versa several times but still the settings app is not in the gallery on the versa. What should I do?

Never heard of that happening!
I would suggest trying to setup the Fitbit again to your account (without unpairing it, you can simply setup and select "replace" during the process). If that doesn't work, a factory reset can be done with the buttons as well, so you can try it by doing the following.
After this, you'll have to set it up to your account again, and this time it will actually have to update and everything like the first time.
