Charge 3 heart rate and fitness level data is not accurate

I recently purchased a versa 2 which was an upgrade from my fit bit blaze. I had a great cardio fitness score and resting heart rate on my charge and I noticed immediately that my heart rate was completely different on my new versa. I've had my versa 2 for a couple of months now and my fitness score has dropped almost 10 points. I am in the gym and run daily so I know the new data isn't accurate. I'd prefer to not have to purchase an entire new fitbit after only owning this one for a matter of months. What can I do? This is really disappointing!

Hi @Rkkluz, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the inaccurate heart rate and fitness level data that your Versa 2 is providing, I totally understand how you feel about this.

I'd like you to restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, monitor your watch during the next 48 hours and see if it provides accurate heart rate and fitness score data.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

After resetting fitbit, it still is not correct.
I checked my heart rate at work and compared it and my heart rate was off
10bpm. At this point all my new data is skewed. I've never had this much of
a problem with fit bit. What are my next steps?

Hi @Rkkluz, thank you for getting back and trying the restart process. I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  8. Set up your tracker from scratch and see if the issues get fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

This did not work for me unfortunately, problem continues. In fact it seems
to be worse now after resetting it. What are my next steps?
