I put my Versa 2 to charge and when I tried to remove it from the charger it wouldn’t budge.
Eventually I managed to pull it off and where it connects to the charger appears to have melted and also the charger itself. I’m glad I didn’t fall asleep in case it started a fire. Has anyone else had something like this?

Hi @777Sharon how long had it been on the charger? You might want to get with customer support. https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

Thank you.
It had been charging for about fifteen minutes.
I just googled and found quite a few more instances of this happening, so it looks like it’s not uncommon.
So that’s the end of my Fitbit then.

My watch had no water damage whatsoever. I contacted customer services. My watch was under warranty. It was replaced with a refurbished watch but the replacement took a few weeks.
After a while, I bought a Versa 4
