Charging craddle won't charge

I just received a replacement Versa because my first one was adding a ridiculous amiunt of steps even when it was on the craddle. Today I received replacement, I deleted previous Versa and set up replacement while on the cradle as instructed. It stated that it was 65% charged but 4 hours later while still in craddle it states 56% charge,  8 steps and 1,200+ calories burned. I believe the craddle is not working and now I'm concerned that it will mess up the electronics. I'm leaving it on the craddle overnight. What should I do?

Clean the charging contacts of both the Versa and the charger and try a different USB pot or wall charger. If it still wont charge restart the Versa several times and try again. If it still wont charge you will need to contact Support (link in my signature) or returnnit to the store you bought it.

I already did both things. This was the same advise given for my first
Versa, which didn't work either. Have you heard of it being a defective
craddle?

I had the same problem with my Versa.  The charging problem was with the USB connector on the cradle.  Regardless of how many different charging blocks I tried, the only way I could get it to charge was to hold the cradle connector firmly in the charging block - as soon as I let go, charging stopped.  I exchanged the Versa for a new one and the new charging cradle works fine...

I bought my Fitbit on their website in June, so I'll be calling on Monday
to see what their resolution is. I will be taking it off the cradle since
it continues to count steps that I haven't taken & calories that I haven't
burned.

Thank you for your reply.
