Choppy music on versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've seen the posts about the choppy music play from the versa. All speakers or headphones I have used are choppy only for versa not any other device. I contacted fitbit to see of a resolution and all i got was the fitbit flyer are the only ones they have tested to work...of course their own product! More money...of course. I have screenshots of the chat. Its aggravating to buy something that has false advertising and all you get from fitbit is an "im sorry for this". That's not going to fix the issue and I'm for sure not going to put more money Into products from this company. I had a charge 2 before and it was nothing but problems, I should of learned from that purchase but now I'm done.

Hello @Jgrona, it is great to see new faces around! I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you are experiencing with your Versa, since the music quality isn't the best between your headphones and your watch. I'd like you try a couple of things, so maybe we can fix this. Please try to restart your Versa and then try to re pair your headphones with your Versa again.

Let me know if that works!

I had the same problem with an inexpensive headset. I then did some research, saw that the flyer had poor reviews and purchased a set that had good ratings and was in the moderately expensive range. Now it sounds great.

Welcome aboard @TLRingT! Sounds great that the headphones that you are using are working fine with your Versa. If you have further questions or comments, please keep me posted.

I had the same problem with my bluetooth headset. Did a ton of research cause I didn't want to buy new expensive earphones. I wear my watch on my left wrist, but headphone receiver is on right ear-piece (bluetooth doesn't like traveling through your body). Not sure it's an option for you to switch the ear pieces around or wear them upside down, but make sure your watch and receiver are on the same side when running. I did not want to wear my watch on my right wrist. Also, make sure your bluetooth is not paired to your phone. Either disconnect them each time from your phone, or 'forget' the earphone device on your phone so it is only paired to your Versa. I do periodically still have problems, but now a quick reboot of my earphones fixes the issue.

I did all of that even tried different speakers different headphones. Reset
fitbit everytime. I even took the versa off put it right next to the
speaker or headphones. I also made sure the versa was the only device
connected to the speaker/heaphones.

A couple of times I had choppy music, just turning cheap ear buds off and back on fixed it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
