Hi All,

I'm Nick from the UK and have recently noticed that my Fitbit Charge 3 does not turn on when I flick my wrist.

I have reset the watch via the app but it hasn't solved it. Any solution you may have?

Thanks in advance
Nick

Accepted Solutions

@npapav - as it's a charge 3 tap and hold the button to get to Quick Settings.

Hi @npapav - in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Device photo, turn on Quick view and sync.

Thanks @Guy_ my app does not have Device photo as an option? just the  Account settings,App settings etc.

The watch is currently synced with the app as current steps are updated as well as heart rate

@npapav  - on that Account screen you should see your device photo and name, just above "Set up a Device"

@npapav  - did you try restarting the watch and logout if the Fitbit app and phone and restart it?

So close!! It initially worked when I tapped the screen after pressing the button...if I leave for too long , no response.  Have to press the button again.

Twisting the wrist still does not activate the display though

@npapav  - if you have a Versa 3 try to swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and enable wrist action there.

If the quick view option didn't fix it, there may be a syncing issue.

You can check in the app, click profile photo, Device photo, and at the top it says when last synced

It's a Charge 3 so could only be a syncing issue like you said... do you think I should contact support?

All the info you provided was helpful, thanks 🙂
