Classic band material question on Lite vs Special Edition

I'm currently trying to decide between the Versa lite and the special edition. My question is about the band materials. The white band on the lite has a pleasing softness and texture. The black classic band on the special edition feels almost "duster" with a very different texture. I really like the feel of the lite band and want to get it in black, but from all the marketing material Fitbit positions them as being the same material when they're clearly not. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

Thank you for your inquiry. Both bands are made from the same material but as you mentioned the texture is different in this case. Take note that accessories are interchangeable so you can use a Versa lite wristband with the original Versa.

Yes, I understood this. I guess my question is how do I buy a band from Fitbit that has the same texture as the Versa Lite? I don't know how to identify or specify that? I'm basically trying to buy a black band that feels the same as the white versa lite band, but I'm not sure how to do that.
