Clock Face showing how many steps this hour

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have seen many posts on people looking for a clock face that shows how many of the 250 steps each hour taken. I found it on the app and on the website, but I cannot find a watch face or a way to see this on my Versa. Anyone know of a watch face that does this or any developers willing to create/add to a watch face that does this?

@VanCowboy I would love to have this too! I'm too lazy to be swiping all over and I want to see everything on one screen. If you're looking for a clock face that shows all the other stats, I like Situational Awareness and HUD2. I found HUD2 uses a little bit more battery life. But the hourly steps is the one thing neither shows.

I don’t know of a clock face but you can see this on your Versa.  From the main screen, swipe up from the bottom to bring up the “Today” screen.  Then scroll down and you’ll see how many steps you’ve taken out of 250 that you’ve taken that hour, or how many 250+ step hours you’ve had, depending on the time of day you are looking.

@VanCowboy  You can see it on the Watch, but not on the clock face.  If you go to the Today Screen by swiping up it is on there.

Thank you all for your responses. I knew there were many ways at getting the information but I was looking for something that was readily available. I tend to get wrapped up in my work and do not know how many (if any) steps I took in the hour but I do look at my watch and it was just something I wanted to see so I knew if I had gotten up and moved about.

Again, thanks for the response and hopefully a developer for FitBit will see this and add it to a watch face.

I need the same thing. Can’t open the app or check today all the time. Sometimes I just miss the hour because I didn’t check. And I feel I don’t even get the hourly reminders all the time...I could be wrong. Anyways, yes hoping some app developer would look into this. 👍🏼

Clock face Move It! has what you are looking for

Strangely I can't see that all it tells me is how many active hours I have not the current count for the hour.

I have found the solution for everyone who has been looking for a Versa clock face that shows your hourly steps.  It is called AcidClock and you can find it easily by typing in AcidClock in the search bar in the Fitbit app under All Clocks.

I asked the developer two days ago if he could add the hourly steps and today he did it. I actually like it better than the Fitbit Today reading as it does not stop at 250 but actually gives you the total number of steps you are doing that hour.  On the clock face line for steps it gives the total steps + the current hour’s total steps, for example 5,678 + 964.

All the information is easy to read — time, date, steps/hourly steps, distance, floors climbed, calories burned, active minutes, heart bpm and battery indicator. I absolutely love it!!!

Thanks so much. This is perfect, exactly what I wanted.

AcidClock is a great solution, but it's still missing two features that HtW Move It clock face has: The ability to have it remind you at the 52, 54, 56, and 58 minute mark and the steps per hour progress circle. I asked the developer of AcidClock to consider adding those two features, but he declined saying that they are already on the Today screen (but isn't everything on the watch face?). Since this is open source and free, how hard would it be to make the changes to the code? AcidClock is prettier and has more stats info but HtW Move It is more functional for those features that I mentioned. I just want the best of both faces. Any ideas?

For me AcidClock is far superior because of all the information it gives (time, day of the week, date, total steps for the day & steps for the current hour, miles walked, floor climbed, calories burned, active minutes, heart beat, battery) and I do love that I get to see the total number of steps taken in an hour, e.g. 1,048, and that it doesn’t limit this stat as it does on the Today screen to the hours selected with a cutoff at 250.
Since the developer would have had to take away one of the stats mentioned above in order to put in the features you suggested, I am so happy he didn’t do it because, for me, AcidClock is perfect as it is. The other thing I love about AcidClock is that all the stats can be seen so easily as the numbers are so clear and the ability to choose a vibrant color for each individual stat from a wide selection of colors makes these stats stand out even more.
So I thank you for your post, but to it I reply, “Sorry but I much prefer the AcidClock watch face to remain as it is.”

I totally agree with vleaton.  A combination of the two faces would be perfect for me.  Move It allows for more customization (multiple reminders, different hourly goals instead 250).

But I like that more stats are shown on AcidClock.

A combo would be great!

With regard to your question as to how to find the AcidClock clock face for your Fitbit Versa: (1) on your Fitbit app, tap Versa in the upper left hand corner (if you don’t don’t see it, swipe down a little and it should appear); (2) on the next screen, tap on Clock Faces; (3) at the top of the next screen, tap on All Clocks; (4) on the next screen, tap on the magnifying glass and do a search on AcidClock. This will bring you to the AcidClock clock face. Hope this helps.
