Clock Face stuck on "switching", changing on its own

I am frustrated to no end. Two days ago I switched my clock face to the Bitmoji one and it worked fine. I checked my watch today and it's the old clock face that I was using, it seems to have switched back spontaneously. I went into the clock faces to see what was up and the Bitmoji face is stuck on "switching" and there's no way to cancel it. I've restarted my Fitbit, my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned the WiFi off and on, and turned the bluetooth off and one. All the while, the watch is syncing fine.  From time to time, I'll get a pop up that says "an application didn't finish installing, would you like to continue?" and regardless of whether I click continue or later, it makes no difference, it still says "switching" and I can't select a different face because it says another is installing. ARGH. What else can I do here??

UPDATE: I managed to switch to a different face despite being stuck on "Switching" still, and after 2 mins it reverted back to the other one on its own.

@jauntyboots, welcome to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I apologize for the delayed response.

I would like to follow up on the issue that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing since the clock face switches by itself. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue fixed before contacting our forums.

Does the issue persist or did it get resolved?

In the meantime, I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, try to install the Bitmoji clock face again and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Nothing worked other than being patient and waiting for it to fix itself. It took several hours 😞

I have similar problem.. not 100% sure cos I only just got Versa 2 SE today.

But it's taking forever to change the clock face, which should be very simple and shouldn't take more than like 30 secs..
