Clock face - numerals don’t fit on screen!

I’m disappointed that there are so few free clock faces to choose from. The one I chose seemed fine to start with but later in the day the display of the time in digital form didn’t fit on the screen - I looked at the time and it said 16:4    It was actually 16:43 but there wasn’t room on the watch face for the last numeral!    Crazy!   I want an accurate time when I look at my watch, not just an idea that it’s between 16:40 and 16:49!   I had to change back to the default screen to get the full time display but that one shows calories instead of battery level.  I notice that there’s no indication how much the ‘paid for’ clock faces cost .... I wonder whether any of them is worth paying for?

As a short term solution, does your clock face allow you to change from 24-hour format to 12-hour format. I would check that out and see if it works for you.

Curious, what is the clock face name?

Thanks for your reply.
I’ve just found loads of free clock faces but I now can’t find this one, so can’t find out its name.
The prob with the missing numerals is intermittent - having glanced at that face again, I noticed that all four numbers were showing But now at 20:55 it just shows 20:5
I can’t get into its settings to change to 12 hour clock as I can no longer find it in the app on my phone.

To determine what the clock face is called (though if you change to a 12-hour clock it will probably be a moot point):

  • Go to the account settings screen in the app.
  • Then press the Versa 2 tile.
  • On the Versa 2 screen press on "Clock Faces".
  • Your current clock face will be shown - press on it (not the small icon with the check mark, but the large image. The settings and permissions page will be shown.
  • The name of the clock face will be displayed under its image

To change to 12-hour clock versus 24-hour clock:

  • Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click on the gear icon at the top right
  • Click on settings and if the Personal Info page doesn't come up immediately click on Personal Info in the left column
  • Scroll down to advanced settings and click on Clock Display Time
  • Select 12-hour
  • Click on the Submit button at the bottom right of the screen
  • Sync your device.

With the largest hour being display as "12" you will never have a "fat" number (like a "2") as the first number in a two number hour. Therefore, you shouldn't have the last number in the display truncated - ever.

Good luck and welcome to the boards.
