Clock on Versa 2 stays in wrong tiome sone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

No matter what I do, the clock on my Versa 2 is exactly 2 hours slow.  I live in Nebraska (Central time zone or CST).  I have selected that time zone in advanced Settings,  Turned off Automatic Time Zone (per instructions0, then re-synced.  Time remains displayed in Pacific Time Zone (PST). I have gone through this procedure many times, including resetting the Versa 2 to factory setting, re downloading fitbit app to my Android phone, all without problem being resolved. For the hell of it,  I even selected a different time zone (neither CST nor PST) - still 2 hours slow.

Any ideas?

Maybe you have tried this, but sometimes it works to set it to another known wrong time zone, sync, then back to correct zone, and sync again.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I found and fixed the problem.  I had installed the fitbit app on my computer as well as on cell phone.  In the computer version of my profile, time zone was set to Pacific Time (PST).  Apparently that profile was resetting the profile on the phone.  Once I changed that, phone on the watch was correct.

Maybe I should delete the fit bit app from my computer.???

I am also looking to see if incomimg text messages to my phone should alarm the watch via notifications.  Notifications are set ON and MESSAGES selected in both computer and cell settings.

Thanks for your inpits.
