Condensation in Versa heart rate sensors

My Fitbit versa was purchased late 2018 and has been great until recently, it requires charging almost every single day and just recently it has stopped working all together, I’ve tried the 2 and 3 button reset and nothing happened, there is also condensation/water in the back of the watch. I swim regularly but since this is designed for swimming I don’t understand why that would damage it? Please help! (Also can’t find receipts or box only bank purchase from rebel sport)

The seal goes after time, especially if used with hot water. Probably time for a replacement.

However if you want to try, lie it on its left side and allow to dry for a few days,

recharge it only then and make sure its not getting hot.

If it still won't wake normally in all probability the factory reset killed it finally.

It is unlikely to be reliable anyway once it gets water inside, and daily charging is a sure sign of damage, but some functions still may work.
