Condensation under lights beside charger

my screen is completely dead. I was wearing it last night watching tv and it got really hot. I took it off and all the lights were blinking on the underside of the watch. Now it shows nothing. I received it as a mothers day gift so can I swap it out with the company?

Did your versa get wet at all?

I diligently took my versa off to shower but on weds night, we decided to take our two versas in the pool to track swimming.

Within hours, both were dead. One immediately like you describe, and one took a few days of my screen glitching and finally dying. Today that one finally has the telltale condensation like yours (I've been looking for it everyday.)

If it is within warranty you should be good. However I am not. I now have two dead versas that are reportedly 'swimproof' after swimming.

Fitbit needs to acknowledge that many versas are not swimproof or even water resistant. Recall those versas, Fitbit. It is the right thing to do for your loyal customers.

Yes I just hung up the phone and I have to ship mine to them and they are going to send me another one. It said 50 meters but apparently they arent as water resistant as they thought. Good company though. Glad they are replacing it since it's under warranty.

I am happy they are helping you, but it is only because it is within warranty.

The replacement they send you won't be covered again from what I've heard. I don't get a replacement because I am out of warranty, even though it's obviously a manufacturer defect.

If that replacement has water damage, you will be told you can have a measly 25% off another one.

I thought they were swimproof.
