Hi, my Fitbit Versa is less than a year old and just developed condensation under the sensor which caused it to die. I got it wet in a rainstorm this weekend but it’s supposed to waterproof and I’ve swam with it in the past and it was fine. It seems many people have this problem so I wondered if Fitbit had a better suggestion besides buying a new one. If something is waterproof this shouldn’t happen. When I tried to charge it it got very hot so now it’s just dead and won’t even respond to a restart.

Hi @Whitefield - Since you’ve had the Versa less than a year, it should still be under warranty. Please contact Support.

I would make sure it is completely dry and try to charge it again. If nothing, you can contact support to see if your warranty is still applicable.
