Connected GPS has disappeared-Versa

When I bought my versa a week ago I had a little fitbit symbol at the top of my phone which said 'connected GPS'. Now that has disappeared and the only notification I get is the one telling me when my versa last synced ...which it seems it doesn't always do and I have to restart the versa, turn off Bluetooth and then back on again and then try sync about 4 times ! I had this issue with my blaze so was hoping for better from versa ! Anyone have any ideas ?

Hi there @Loubyb, great to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response. I was reading you are not able to see the Connected GPS icon and your Versa is presenting some difficulties to sync.

Connected GPS will depend of the exercise you are selecting as not all the exercise have available this option. For more details please refer to this post: Connected GPS Information Post.

If the syncing issues are too often, perhaps our following help article will give you some extra help: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Note that GPS feature may get affected too if the tracker is unable to sync.

Let me know if you are still having troubles with GPS. I'll be around!

Hi
When i first put the versa on and set it up it showed a fit bit logo at the top of my phone whic said connected gps when i pulled it down. I wasn't doing any exercise or had it on exercise mode. After about 4 days that just disappeared ?I have had the blaze for just over 2 years and had the exact same issue with synching. Most days I have to restart my tracker and attempt to sync about 5 to 8 times. Had 2 phones over this time and 2 blazes and now the versa so no common issue !

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
