Just got my brand new Versa for mother day. Really happy with it, but, connected GPS tracking is way of, by about a kilometer on my last run. Now that makes this feature basically unusable to me. Can this be fixed please?

@Mamamegs There are many threads on this forum discussing this exact issue. Some people have better luck than others with this feature. There may be some impact from certain settings on some phones but nothing creates a perfect distance measurement.
Here's an in-depth review of the Versa. Deep into the article is a discussion about the GPS Accuracy.

I figure that this reviewer received a pre-tested device to ensure it had no hardware issues. He had quite a bit of trouble getting it to record accurately and did comparisons to other fitness trackers. I would guess he had a direct line to Support while he fine tuned his phone (iPhone X) settings and Versa setting to make the Versa track as well as possible.
There will be some that will tell you it works fine for them. My experience is that the Versa is accurate with a +/-5% accuracy (read 10% variation from max distance to min distance). Many don't seem to know the true distance they travelled. If it's a run you've done many times before, most likely you KNOW what the distance should be.
If tighter accuracy is important to you, I would suggest either using the MobileTrack feature (start the exercise from you phone, not your Versa) or use another tracking app installed on your phone, like Strava.
