Hi Everyone,

Longtime Fitbit user but its only been over the past 6 weeks that getting healthy has become my primary focus in life so to that end I have a few questions.

My device is a Versa worn on my non-dominant wrist while the setting is for the dominant wrist using a Samsung Galaxy S9+.

1. Within the app on the phone when I click the Exercise tile then the stop watch icon in the upper right then the drop down that starts with walk I only see three possible choices: Run , Walk , Hike. Should I see any other options there ? What if I am doing a treadmill routine?

2. Along those same lines on the Versa I can go into Exercise and select a few different routines like Treadmill, Weights, Bike, Walk and others. Is this a better approach to track my routine then option 1?

Thanks!

The only options starting from the phone are run, walk, hike.  The reason to use that would be if you are connecting to your phone's GPS and want to get voice cues.

Otherwise I always start exercise from the tracker itself - your #2.  That has many more options, and you can change the choices that you are given.

Thanks Johnny Row!

That was a simple and complete answer which essentially confirms what I had sort of assumed anyway.
