@LMVW   Fitbit has always required a premium subscription for its music apps.  This was true for Pandora and Deezer when they were available and for the newer models that have YouTube Music.  The Versa 2 has a generic Music Control feature.  You can control any music app on your phone and it doesn't require a premium subscription.  The Spotify app is a connect and control app.  It doesn't let you put playlists on the Versa 2.  To the best of my knowledge, the Music Control, also a connect and control app. will give you the same experience.

Hi @LMVW - there are some advantages to the built-in Music Controls, you can control any music playing on your phone and adjust the volume without stopping the app or clock face you are currently using.

You will need to set it up to get it working,  see using Music Controls
