1) I was wondering I just bought my Fitbit Versa 4 days ago. How long will I get software updates for it.
The updates will come as long as Fitbit is still supporting the device. That should be a good long time ... years.
2) How does this fitness tracking work, if I’ve been sitting on the couch the whole day and it says I’ve walked over a thousand steps.
First of all, the Versa is on your wrist so wrist activity can sometimes be counted as steps. This is why we also see “steps” while asleep. You can find detailed information in the Help section on How Does my Fitbit Device Calculate Daily Activity.
