I bought a Versa in June 2018.
It last just less than 1 year, and was replaced under warranty in June 2018.
It is now 5 MONTHS later. Versa started acting strange, going between screens by itself. I shut it down to restart, IT IS NOW COMPLETELY DEAD, will not turn on or show charging

Did your screen go funny just before it died? Mines just stopped working and its less than a year old too.

Yes it did.
I took it to the Verizon store, the tech showed me how to force a reboot: hold all 3 buttons in for about 15 seconds. It rebooted and seems to be working OK now
