Data flashes on App. Sport didn’t log

Hello all,

Hopefully someone can help me out. Since this past Wednesday my Fitbit Versa 2 has been acting weird. I think it’s mainly the app. I played a sport for a little over an hour and it didn’t register under the workout section, but it does show that it contributed to the calories burned/active minutes for the day/steps etc.

I played the same sport the Sunday prior and it worked fine.

The other problem I’m having is also in the app. I have the default screen which shows Steps as the big stat, with floors, miles, calories burned, and active minutes as the smaller stats just below it. The current day is always fine, but when I go to a previous day the stats for Floors and Active minutes will “flash” with the stats that they are supposed to be for that day, then immediately change to whatever the stats for the current day are. If that makes sense.

So for example, today I’ve done zero active minutes because I’m lazy. Yesterday, I did 45 minutes. If I go to the yesterday date, it will flash 45 for about 2 seconds then straight to zero however everything else for that day like the steps and calories are what they should be. I can click on the full report for a stat and it will give me the correct data but the preview is wrong.

So far I’ve tried

  • Restarting my Versa 2
  • Updating and restarting my iphone
  • Checked for updates for the Fitbit app
  • Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help it is much appreciated.

So the sport logged today but the flashing data on the app is still a problem.

Anyone?

I’m having the same issue on my Ionic. The app suddenly started “flashing” the incorrect stats for previous days.

ive also tried the remedies you’ve tried, with no luck.

Same here, ever since the most recent update, I can’t go back to see the previous days’ stats. They all revert to whatever “today’s” stats currently are.

I have the same issue. Data flashes on both active minutes and floors/stairs between what it is supposed to be and zero and lands on zero. Super frustrating.

on a separate note, my altimeter isn’t working all the time either. I purposely did 10 staircases and it registered 4.

I’m just gonna get an apple watch. It’s been a month with no fix and no response from Fitbit. Pretty solid customer service you guys got.
