Data from previous days not updating in the app.

I just got my Versa and I really like the device.   However after recording my sleep on the first night I had it,  the next night  (last night)  it shows graph or results like the previous day had shown.  I thought this may be a sync issue (as I have a  Samsung Galaxy 7 and read there were some issues) but the App IS displaying my steps thought the day and showing calories and other information that I type in on my phone (on the app)

Is this still a SYNC issue?   and  doesn't the reporting of steps on the app, and calories etc. on the device indicate there was a SYNC / Connection?

The app reads my last sync was last evening when I changed the clock face and I've tried to SYNC the device using the SYNC NOW button from the APP.  Despite how may times I run it,  underneath the option it still only shows the date from last nights clock face change.

I'm still new to the device so I'm unsure about all the details of the VERSA but I am frustrated the device didn't record my sleep last night.

Did I do something wrong?  and how can I insure it will record the sleep?    (does that need to be set up prior to going to sleep?)

Thank you for the answers and help, and sorry for being so long-winded (I'm trying to be thorough and provide a proper explanation)

@Kinglothar32 Log in to Fitbit.com and compare the stats on the dashboard with your Fitbit mobile app. Several times it happened that my stats (steps, calories, etc.) were displayed in the app, but haven't been transferred to the Fitbit servers and dashboard itself, thus any calculations (exercises, sleep, etc.) were missing in the app. My point is check how the dashboard on Fitbit site looks like. If the stats (e.g.) steps are missing for today, then you will know it didn't get pushed through. Also, you can simply log out and log back in to Fitbit mobile app and force sync. Just swipe down with your finger when on main screen of the app. To check if it synced, tap on the versa icon in the right top corner and scroll down a bit.

thanks for the help! I check both site and app on my phone and there was a discrepancy.

so even though i forced sync from my phone, the info didn't update at fitbit.com

Is there a video or some sort of guide for using the sleep analysis and setting it up to get the display, feedback and analysis I would like to get each morning?

I'd like to see these analyses once I wake up ( review on my app)  these automatically pushed to my phone app on the first morning I had it, but now I am having to go Through all this to get the analysis/breakdown.

my wife prompted it by  telling the app I was linking a "new" versa to the app and I had to reconnect to wifi etc like the first time I set up. THAT is the only time it does a full sync with providing the analysis on my app.

I'm getting frustrated by this.

@Kinglothar32 It seems it's not getting refreshed for whatever reason. Does simple logging out and back in to the Fitbit app resolves the issue? Or you have to set up (replace) Versa each time?

Let's try this:

@Chicago97 Thank you for letting me know that you're not getting any notifications. My next question would be - does Versa sync at all? Please try this:

  1. Remove wifi network from Fitbit mobile app and force sync
  2. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  3. Uninstall Fitbit mobile app
  4. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair
  5. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  6. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  7. Grant all permissions and force sync
  8. Turn on All Day Sync, Always Connected and Keep Alive widget in the Fitbit mobile app
  9. Set up your notifications in Fitbit mobile app and sync again.
