Dead as a dodo

My daughter charged up her Fitbit Lite to 100% before putting back on at bedtime, all fine. She woke late and went to look at her watch for the time the next morning but it was dead. We tried the soft reset (holding the button) several times - her and me, put it on charge again, absolutely nothing. When we checked her app on her phone it had last synced at 11.15am and logged some steps, around 170 but was saying the app couldn’t find the device (obviously because it’s dead). What do I do now? Only bought it mid October 2019 so very disappointed.
