Hi everyone.

Bought my Versa yesterday. Turned out that there is one dead pixel on the LCD display. Will Fitbit replace my device?

Hello and welcome to the forums @UniqueUsername

If the dead pixel is a concern, the fastest way to resolve the issue would be to return it to the retailer where it was purchased. Did you get it locally?

From an authorized retailer, Fitbit does have a warranty. Best thing is for a moderator to enter this thread and let you know the company's thoughts on it. Someone should be along soon to answer your question.

Yeah I have it locally (in central europe). I will return watch to the retailer tomorrow. I just didn't know that one dead pixel worth the replacement in case of the warranty rules. Based on the ISO 13406-2 which is an pixel fault warranty standard for LCD screens the Versa shall be replaced. For example: a 1028x768 monitor screen with two pixels can refused to replaced. But Versa has 300x300, so to the best of my knowledge it shall be replaced even if one pixel is that. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit:

Sadly I can't edit my post, so I will correct my typos: Basicly best of my knowledge the Versa shall be replaced if one dead pixel appears on the screen according to  ISO 13406-2(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_13406-2). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
