I linked my deezer account with my versa 3 and when I got to transfer music I get the "Uh oh.  Trouble connecting to server." message and it won't let me open the deezer app through fitbit.  However the deezer app works just fine on my phone.  This have to he a fitbit --> deezer problem.  Can you fix it please.

Hi @CYBERCELT @DH_Aust, welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided and for following the steps I recommended before posting here.

As a last resort, please plug your watch into the charger. Music downloads automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap the menu icon > Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch.

If none of the above works, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

We hope your issue is solved soon.

Same issue, I can't manage playlists in the Deezer menu of the Fitbit app. This just started yesterday. If it persists, I might just reinstall my Deezer account via the app.

Hi there @SunsetRunner @mab795, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with Deezer.

Before we continue please check this information: The Deezer app comes preinstalled on watches in many countries. If the Deezer app is not already installed on your watch, see How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit device? For more information on Deezer’s availability by region, see support.deezer.com

When setting up Deezer, open the Deezer app on your watch to see your activation code. If the activation code doesn’t appear:

  1. Make sure the device you have paired with your watch is nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
  2. If the code still doesn’t appear, press the back button on your watch and then open the Deezer app again.

If you see a code on your watch, but can’t enter it at fitbit.com/deezer, make sure you’re using the code displayed on your watch. Each code is tied to a specific user and device and expires after several minutes. If you’re not able to activate Deezer, contact Customer Support.

If the activation code remains on your watch after entering it at fitbit.com/deezer:

  1. Make sure the device you have paired with your watch is nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
  2. In the Fitbit app, choose the Deezer playlists you want to download, and then place your watch on its charger within range of your Wi-Fi network.
  3. If the activation code doesn’t go away on its own, press the back button on your watch and then open the Deezer app again.

Hi Marre,

Thanks for the information, but the problem I experience (and I think the problem that the original poster is experiencing) occurs after the Fitbit Versa 3 has been linked with the Deezer app. I have successfully done this. The issue is when I try to sync my Fitbit Music with the Deezer playlist. It always shows an error message (in the Fitbit app) and says something like ‘try again later’. I’ve tried this numerous times over several days, checked that my phone and watch are on the same Wifi network, tried with charger connected and charger disconnected, unlinked and relinked Deezer account, etc., but with no success. What else can I try?

Has anyone had luck yet with this? I still can't download my Deezer playlists to my watch and have done all the troubleshooting tips NUMEROUS times with no avail. Not sure what else to do at this point. Why advertise this if it doesn't even work?

Has anyone found a fix for this? I contacted fitbit support yesterday for help and they were useless. They escalated it to another support team who just emailed me the instructions you find in the help section which has not helped at all.

I'm having th same issues and feel somewhat insulted that the live chat send you links to their help pages to advise all the things tried prior to asking for help, seems to be an issue that they are aware of and continues to happen yet no resolve........

Literally the exact same issue. Contacted them, they "escalated the case". May try and factory reset the watch and set it up all over again hopefully it fixes? Useless, can't download music on any app other than Deezer and Deezer now doesn't work? Thanks for the couple hundred dollar pedometer

Anybody any luck yet? Mine was working on Monday and yet today Deezer just won't connect. It seems like I'm getting the same Oh oh message and same message on my watch as the rest of you. I wonder if there has been a recent update, for it to suddenly have stopped connecting.
