When trying to access Deezer app on Fitbit app on iPhone, I get the following error 'An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later' (also see screenshot attached).

Notes:

  • I am connected to wifi
  • My Deezer subscription is paid
  • Have upgraded iPhone to latests OS 15.3
  • Have unlinked/linked Deezer account
  • Have logged out of Fitbit phone turned phone off/on logged back in (didn't work)
  • Have tried to debug on Fitbit support chat with no luck (they said someone would email me with next steps)

Anyone having similar issue please comment to raise as Im sure its not just me.

I’m having the same exact issue. It just started a couple of days ago. I checked for the blockers, adware, vpn issues but don’t have anything like that and I haven’t changed my phone settings since this was working before.

Hi, thanks for the reply, unfortunately I have tried all this with no success. Also seems a few people have the same issue, it must be something new integrated into either the fitbit app or deezer app on fitbit

Hi all,

I have the same problem. It appears after I have to factory reset my watch a week ago. I have tried basically everything as in the first comment. Nothing works for me.

Please fix this issue. Thank you.

I am having the same error.  After chatting with fitbit about it, they indicate the error is coming from the deezer app for fitbit.  So they sent me to deezer support.  Will see what they say.

It's interesting because it seems to be watch specific too. My friend has an Ionic and the app is working perfectly fine for her.

FYI all, I just received this from Deezer in relation to the issue "We are currently experiencing an issue with Fitbit that we are trying to resolve in cooperation with Fitbit."

I got the same email last night and this morning it was working once again!  I hope it is resolved for you guys as well.

The issue seems to be resolved for me now, double thumbs down for Fitbit though for (1.) not acknowledging this was an issue publicly on this thread, I had to chase up Deezer where they confirmed it was a known issue (2.) Not updating everyone that the issue was resolved.
