Delayed syncing hourly steps and active minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When looking at the Today App, I have found in doing my 250 hourly steps, that the app is slow in displaying the actual step count, because every time I check the app to see where I am in the process,  it shows me the prior number (even though I might have done 100 steps more).  It will update, but it takes a couple of seconds, which is annoying since it generally means I have to stop walking for a couple of seconds if I want to see where I am at.

It should be noted that the active minutes also do not update in real time.  For example, today it took a long time for my active minutes to show even 1 minute while I was exercising and stayed at 1 until I was finished and then it jumped to 15.

It would be nice if FitBit could fix this problem. Thankfully my steps taken total and floors climbed do track in real time on the app.

@ChrisF-Alta It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community.

On the Fitbit app, you can check the following data in real time:

- Steps

- Calories burned

- Distance

- Floors

- Heart rate

For more information about how real-time data works, please visit this article. If you would like to see more data in real time, you are welcome to place a request in the Feature Suggestions board, which is constantly monitored by our developers team. If there is any update available it is communicated as soon as possible.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
