Device froze and stopped recording stats

Had a charge 2 for years..no issues. Today, the versa completely froze for an hour and for almost 6,000 steps, its calculating under a mile!!...aggravating fitbit!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? When you say that the Versa 2 froze, you mean that your device was unresponsive for the entire hour without tracking anything? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your device and then log the activity following the steps that are specified on: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
