About a week ago I have recently upgraded from the charge HR to the versa. The very 1st night it tracked 3 and a 1/2 hours of my roughly 6 hours of sleep and ever since then it will not track any of it at all. I have tried wearing it looser, I've tried wearing it tighter, I have deleted the app re installed the app. I've deleted the device & re installed the device, I've tried resetting the device by holding the bottom buttons. I'm at a loss I originally purchased the fit bit for the sole purpose of tracking my sleep and can't seem to get that information anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am using a Samsung galaxy 8

Just to check, your heart rate sensor is on, yes? And, you allow your Versa to detect your sleep automatically. You don't use the manual "Begin Sleep Now" option, right? Versa makes good contact with your arm while sleeping?

I'm really not sure what the problem might be. Usually it's one of the things I mentioned. Maybe someone else can provide some insight.

I'm having a similar problem. The versa sleep tracking was good the first night and now it is way off. It told me I got 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night when I know it was well over six. What happened in my case that after 4 1/2 hours sleep I got up to use the washroom. 15 steps at the most. My previous fitbit iterations (Alta, Charge HR) would count those times as awake times and go on tracking sleep. I think the versa decided I had woken up completely and stopped tracking my sleep. And of course I got a snarky message in my sleep insights telling me to get more sleep!
Is anyone else experiencing this?

I had that happen the first night I wore my Versa. Got up to use the bathroom and my Versa decided I was up for so long that it made two separate logs for the same night with a 1.5 hr gap between. Since then it's settled down to expected behavior. Sometimes I fool it by keeping my left arm completely still while I hold my kindle in my right if I'm having difficulty going back to sleep. If I have a night with lots of hot flashes (yep, fun) and I'm extra restless with these, my Versa has a harder time but I still usually get a log. Love those snarky comments!
