Difference of sizes between official fitbit bands??

Hi,

I bought recently from the official fitbit store a plastic classic band (Family Classic Band - Charcoal), and a few weeks later a "Woven Hybrid Band", both in "small" size each time.

The "woven hybrid one" is actually much smaller. Both parts are shorter than the plastic model (the part with the buckle, and the other part has 11 holes vs. 12 holes).

I have contacted the support team but they don't seem to believe it, and asking for more pictures (because clearly, it would be very hard for them to check official fitbit products?!). Has anybody else noticed variations of size between models of bands?

What's the point of paying top money for official bands from the official store if there are such big variations?

Tom

@Tomtomato A warm welcome to our Community!

Let me help you with your Versa bands and thank you for sharing pictures of this. This is odd. It could be that the different materials could influence this? I am not sure but still you can ask for either an exchange or a refund. Make sure to check the warranty to have information about this.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I am assuming it's different material and therefore different sizing. Even the number of holes doesn't match

Dreadful support from Fitbit so far.

I have sent several messages with the picture, showing the difference between that model of bands and other Fitbit bands.

Their conclusion is that I should have ordered large instead of small, and should return the small band to the Netherland at my own cost (recorded), despite the fact that it's a product defect! They seem to completely discard information provided.

To be honest, every time I contact Fitbit support, the answers are not relevant, and they don't provide any help.

They are clearly ignoring both the UK consumer laws and EU laws.

Both state that a seller has to paid for the return of goods if those are not as described or faulty, which is exactly the case here.

I have had to raise a PayPal request to get a refund. Great experience, Fitbit!
