I wish I had read the board posts about the horrible band-changing design before I bought my Versa.
I thought I'd spend a few minutes on my lunch hour learning about my new Versa. Now I have 1/2 the band off and can't get it back on. This is the original black silicone band, not a 3rd party.
I've read what everyone says but at this point I'll have to just put it away and try when I get home from work. Who thought this was a good design? I'm very disappointed.

I have had no luck replacing the band on my Fitbit Versa 2. I get the bottom insert and have the pin pulled back but can not get the silicone inserted. This is very frustrating.

For me, it’s when you order a band with a bit wider end than the Versa company. There is quite a variety of them on Amazon and I got a lightning deal last week on 10 different coloured bands and I absolutely love them. BUT today decided to put one on since I had a new outfit on. OMG! All my nails are broken and both my thumbs are hurting so much snd now tonight throbbing like crazy. I could only get one side in no matter how hard I tried and I’ve been changing hands for almost 2 years without difficulty. I’m telling you, I ended up throwing it on the other side of the kitchen. Gave up. The ends won’t go in because it’s a tiny tiny bit too wide but when you compare it with the Verrsa band it appears identical. Anyways had to vent. I see I’m not the only one having so much problem that has to come on here for support. I love my watch but sometimes. (Swear words come to mind when it’s time to change the bands). I saw the photo of the one where you simply add the face inside. Love it, ordered one. Happy girl. Thank you!! Much love,
Claudette

thanks for the tip!
After wasting $50 on a band that I purchased directly from FITBIT that does not fit my FITBIT, I'm not willing to spend more money on a FITBIT or FITBIT accessories. I'm just going to replace my FITBIT may with a Garmin or Apple Watch.

My Versa band broke and my replacement was just delivered to my door.. About an hour ago now! I've managed to get one half of it on, but the other has the pin on the outside of the band whereas my old one the pin was on the inside of the band. Have they change them for some reason? It's making it difficult to get on, but when I do the pin is going to be visible and a bit weird looking? Waaat? Was I sent a reject band or something?

Very important to keep it at 45° down from the face not aligned straight

I’ve had issue with my watch, as well. Bought a replacement at Walmart. Had major problem taking off one of the old bands, the small knob on the pin broke.I had to pry the pin out, then couldn’t get the new band on ... very frustrated!!
