I wish I had read the board posts about the horrible band-changing design before I bought my Versa.
I thought I'd spend a few minutes on my lunch hour learning about my new Versa. Now I have 1/2 the band off and can't get it back on. This is the original black silicone band, not a 3rd party.
I've read what everyone says but at this point I'll have to just put it away and try when I get home from work. Who thought this was a good design? I'm very disappointed.

I hope I can find this band on Amazon

My Fitbit Versa is two weeks old. The band has fallen off twice! If it falls off one more time, I will get rid of the Versa and go to another model or leave FitBit altogether. I’ve had a tracker (wear on my waist) and Blaze (stopped tracking heart rate after several years) and have not had as much trouble as this ridiculous Versa band! No, I don’t have time to put the band back on with tweezers as I’m usually at work or running errands when the band decides to pop loose! FitBit please get rid of the horrendous design flaw and give us Versa owners another option!

The band always comes off at the pin connection. As soon as I finished typing the response/complaint to the community board and developer board, the pin came out again. In the race to be “trendy”, cool, or whatever, they lost the common sense to be practical. I’m on Amazon now and am ordering a band that does not have pins. It is not as fancy but it does work 🙂

The band from Amazon arrived today and I love it. I'm in a much better place than I was a few days ago 😊. I don't mind removing it from the case to charge it. I did the same with my Blaze and it was not a problem. Have a good weekend 😊

The watch band design is a piece of **ahem** - I have been at it for an hour and can't do it - the balze was fin - why change?

I totally agree! The Blaze band was much better! Go to Amazon and order the SUPCASE (Unicorn Beetle Pro) Protective Replacement Wristband Case with strap for Fitbit Versa. I have one and it's perfect. It's only $20 and well worth it.

LOL I feel you! But the good news is: It gets easier! When I first bought my Versa, I kid you not, I spent 30 minutes trying to change that darn band. But now, I pop 'em in and out in seconds...which is a good thing since I change my band pretty much every day (I have 5 different bands and bumper cases - kinda overboard? maybe! lol). So anyway, I promise you it does get better with practice. The angle is a bit odd and it takes some getting used to. I would suggest after inserting the bottom pin, while sliding the top pin, try to aim the band at a 45-degree angle toward the watch face instead of toward the back of it, like the instruction pictures show. It's much easier to insert that way, and then once both pins are in, you just gently swivel it back. This has made a world of difference for me.
Good luck to you and anyone else who's having band complications!

Yeah I needed a few nail files after changing bands. I'm punished every time I move away from the flex2

I cannot figure out how to reattach the band with the clasp/closure. The other side with the notches was super easy. I'm returning mine tomorrow. This is a horrific design flaw. I am saddened because I loved mine but this is a deal breaker.

Yes what a pain in the finger nail. I have been using a retractable ball point pen, just put the pen tip right over the pin, makes it easier.

It is certainly a design flaw. Fitbit did not think through the band issues. I got a band from Amazon made by Supracase that works perfectly for the Versa. There aren't any pins and the Versa fits securely inside the band; similar to the Blaze. Before you return the entire watch, get another band. Still advise Fitbit on the flaw.

I about broken all my nails thing for over an hour. Got it yesterday and thought it'd be easy like Blaze . Still can't get original back on. Will likely be shipping back

Same, don't buy the Versa. I always swap my bands for work meetings and its exhausting. My Versa broke randomly and they are kind enough to replace it, but only with another Versa. Any of the other models with easier bands to swap out would be better then this model.

Actually, I'm not having any issues with changing the bands at all. At first, when it was new to me, yeah it was a bit difficult. But after doing it a few times, it gets easier. Now, I swap them almost daily (I have several different bands now) in a matter of seconds, and it's very easy.

I have just spent 45 minutes changing my strap. Oh my Gracious! What a let down that was. More people should be made aware of this faulty design. It doesn't do what it says on the adverts.

@Brief-Scrutini wow, seriously? Maybe you got a faulty band. It takes me about 30 seconds to change my bands.
