Difficulties syncing music on my Versa

Lets establish upfront that syncing music is buggy and seems to make no sense, whether it works or doesn't. After spending multiple time with fitbit to no success, here is what I have learned for the app to work sometimes.

1 .Need to be close to your main wifi signal

2. The fitbit needs to be synced and connected via bluetooth. 

 3. Then click on the credit card on the right of the main screen which will open up to the versa icon on the left. Clicking that gives you a screen where you can scroll down to "wifi setup" on the right.

This wifi set up lets you establish connection with the tracker. 

4. Now I always go to "about" on the tracker and observe if it has actually connected to wifi. The Windows app may say it is, but the tracker doesn't always confirm that. It may take several tries to establish a connection with the tracker.

5. After a wifi connection is established, and you have gone to the music note icon screen

 click on  Personal music  and the popup blue green screen that says "looking for your watch" comes up. This where it gets buggy. Check to see if you still connected to wifi on the versa. I haven't found it makes any difference if I drop blue tooth or not. Once the windows app is "looking for your watch" I go to the tracker music note icon and connect the tracker. It may take several times, back out try again. Bottom line the app may say the tracker is wifi connected so make sure it is indeed connected. Good luck.
