Difficulties to connect Spotify on my Versa 2

I have been trying to sync my spotify acct to my versa 2 and it keeps teeling my I need to make sure its both connected the blue tooth. Did that already signed in and it wont sync.

I would like to mention the Spotify app allows you to control the music playing on the Spotify app on your phone, computer, or other Spotify Connect devices, and to like songs and switch between playlists. The Spotify app on your Fitbit device doesn’t support offline music playback.
