Difficulties to update my Versa 2 firmware

My Versa 2, which I have had for less than a month, is saying I need to update it. But when I try to update it keeps failing. According to my app the version is 35.72.1.9. But no matter how I try, it will not update. I have tried reconnecting via bluetooth and wifi. It is also taking forever to sync.

Currently, the latest firmware version for your watch is 72.1.15 as stated in this article. I would recommend following these troubleshooting steps to resolve update issues.

 

In addition, please make sure to have the latest Fitbit app version (3.43.1 iOS and Android). For instructions on how to check your current app version and update, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I update the Fitbit app?".
