Has anyone else had difficulty getting your Versa watch band off to change it to another one?

Mine was a piece of cake.  Watchband off and on in less than 2 mins.  I was kinda worried about it after all the problems I had heard.

Just push the little spring tab and wiggle the band off.  And repeat putting the new one on.

In case you haven't, please see pages 14-15 in the User Manual.

I do find it is harder to get the bands off and on than on the Ionic or Blaze. It is doable, but takes a little time compared to the other ones. I have the SE with the cloth band - it is more difficult to get the cloth one back on than the classic band. I'm getting the swing of it, but it do have to add extra time switching it out before a workout.

I have noticed getting the stock back on is a little more challenging.  You have to hold the band at the right angle to get the pins to line up.

I picked up a 22mm band for a g3 that didn’t fit.  The pin size was good. But the  band was too thick around the pins to let it line up.

I also picked up a silicone band off amazon that is very easy to take off and on.  Much easier that the stock silicone band.

the ionic has the best band removal system of any Fitbit I've used...i'm surprised that Fitbit didn't replicate it on the Versa tbh

I also felt it was a bit trickier than the simplistic small guide-book shows.  Not so much getting it off as putting the new one back in.  Took a few more minutes than I'd like to see.

I had no problem getting the watch band off but it took me at least 10 to 15 minutes to get it back on.  I can’t believe they designed it so poorly. It looks like it should be so simple, but it is very hard to align it properly. 😟

I went from a Blaze to Versa and it was like day and night changing the bands.  Balze was easy. At least for me Versa is not easy at all.  In fact I bent the pin trying to get it in there correctly.  Had to have my hubby change it for me.  Does anyone know where you can get extra pins?

The woven band is easy to change, but the silicone... who designed this and are they locked up yet?

Thank you! I did look on Amazon previously but I was not describing the item correctly.

You are welcome. Smiley Happy  I bought 3 Milanese straps from that particular seller. If they are selling the same pins, then they are the good ones. I have some pins from other sellers that are really bad. The lousy ones are so flimsy that I could not even install the pins alone, without any strap, on my Versa.

Band part without buckle came right off. Band part with buckle no...lever won't move. Any advice. Don't want to break it!

Yes, I find them very frustrating. I previously had the Fitbit Charge 2 and loved changing the bands to match my outfits, etc. The Versa bands make this much more challenging. I have also lost two tempered glass face covers in the process of switching bands on and off. The little pin and holding at an angle, etc is just time consuming and not user friendly. It is unfortunate since I love the Versa itself.

Hi I bought a new strap for my new Fitbit versa.  Came to change but the cheap tacky plastic strap won’t budge.  I have watched videos etc still wont move, either side😡😡😡. Now what am I supposed to do?  Fuming here

I received my Versa a few days ago and tried to remove the original band in order to install the Fitbit stainless steel band. One side was easy to remove BUT the other side will not budge! Fitbit Support has not been any help.

yes, the band system is one of the worst designs I've used.
