Yes and in less than 3 months of use. The watch looks years old. Purchased it on Dec 2nd and it looks horrible. The customer service is unwilling to help and say that's wear and tear. Really?
What do you expect me to have done to the watch in 2 months. It leaves patches on my skin. My worst experience with fitbit and probably my last.

So sorry to hear your story. Mine isn't quite a happy one. I am a fitbit user for more than 5 years and was excited to buy myself a versa 2 last December. The watch looked great and worked perfectly until it started wearing off. The body discolored leaving patches on my skin.
Now I contact the "customer service " . I think they should rename it to "customer torture ". Thd lady on the phone wouldn't listen to me and just kept saying her rehearsed verbatim, " I am sorry the replacement policy does not cover wear and tear".
Then she would place me on hold for long and wouldn't provide me with an email where I could write and send pictures. So I receive an email spelling the same verbatim. Then I take up the matter with the chat. The person on the chat was polite and patient and when he pulled out my telephone conversation, to my shock, he said , I am sorry that you lost your watch and we cannot replace it.
Really?
So I go on to explaining him my issues and was already getting pissed off with my experience. The person was polite so that kept me calm. But all my efforts to explain go in vain. Staying in NJ and wearing the watch kn a weather when I don't even sweat, I don't think 2 months is a good time for a watch so expensive to start wearing off. My last one lasted for a year and a half, probably more, before it wouldn't charge. Now that's what I call wearing off.
I feel duped of my money and am really disheartened by the customer service policy of fitbit. This company is not at all customer centric and from tg he fact that there is no where you can write to them.
HELLO...ANYONE THERE...LISTENING TO YOUR VALUED CUSTOMERS?
And here writing in the fitbit community would also be pointless as it's a closed community and I doubt anyone at Fitbit cares to read customer grievances.
Anyways sharing my experience.
Please do not waste your money buying this watch Versa2 Emerald.
