My Versa 2 was destroyed in Nov 22 immediately upon a download of an “upgrade” that FitBit required me to download. FitBit refused to refund me because it was “out of warranty,” and I had to buy a new device at full price. In March, FB offered a 35% discount but only for 30 days. I did not need a new FB then. It’s now expired.

Ask for one again and let them know you want to get a new one and don’t they want to retain you as a customer. Cmon Fitbit/support/ moderator give the discount.

Thanks for replying back. Hope @Jack91011 gets the discount to purchase a new one. I just purchased a replacement Versa 2 with discount today. Hopefully no issues with the new one.

Thank you. As I indicated in an email, the FB I wanted to buy with the discount was for my wife for Mothers Day. After my requests via Twitter direct message were denied twice, I bought her a product from another company. After I had done that, I received a new discount offer, but it was too late. Unfortunately, this new discount also expires in 30 days, so I probably will not be able to use it. I would like to be reimbursed for the Versa 2 that was destroyed by the software upgrade that Fitbit required me to download, or I would like a discount offer that will not expire.

If this new one does the same thing, will not purchase another one. I will just do without one.
