I had trouble getting the band changed one day and inadvertently pushed a lot of buttons. Now to see my display for time and information I have to push in the single left hand button. Even notifications buzz only no auto display

Hold in left button a few seconds; look for 'Screen Wake'; tap to toggle on or off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
