Display won't change from meters to miles Versa

On the display with multi colored bubbles on the Versa, I can't change the distance from meters to miles .   On the App it shows miles but the Versa display is always meters even though everything else is in the US system.

I think the developers of some watch faces for the versa ignore the system setting for units.

Thanks, it never occurred to me that the developers would not use Fitbit settings.

I don't want a Twitter account so how can I tell Marc Groen, the designer, about his problem?  Like the face but just need miles and stairs.
