Hi

I am having trouble in measuring distance against the steps I take during the day. It only measures the distance when I am active and when I am walking randomly during the day like in office or in home the steps taken doesn't get accounted for the distance covered. Today I took around 11k steps but the distance covered is only 6.65 km which is not right. Please advise how to fix it.

Thanks

Yes a sync is needed to transfer any changes of the settings to the Fitbit tracker, and is why the user is reminded to sync after a change is made on the web. The app will automatically start a sync cycle, and if failed to sync, I find the setting sometimes reverts back.
