Distance on Versa doesn't match what syncs with app

Lately when I sync my Versa distance differs from what's displaying on the watch. For example, today my Versa shows 4.87 miles, but when I sync it with the app -- the app shows only 3.02 miles. I've tried restarting the watch and my phone but it didn't fix the issue. Any ideas?
