Hi! I just wanted to ask if I should pick a small band or a large band according to my measuring from the size chart (printed at 100%) - I just want to make sure because I would like to order some armbands off Amazon and I don't really have any other chance to do so than this upcoming week. My Versa hasn't been shipped yet, so I'm not sure which size fits me. I'm attaching a picture, the line marks how much I need to wrap it around my entire wrist. I'm making sure because I would prefer not to have to pierce any holes into a band myself.

Ha didn't think I'd be that close!
I've not got my versa yet to measure, but going on my family's previous fitbits yes, the last hole is at the last size point then there's about another 1cm of tail. The holes are generally spaced out 5mm and are about 3mm in size. So I'd guess you'd be on the 3rd hole from the end with about a 2.5cm tail. If you want longer, go for the large - I think it'd give you around another 4cm length but my maths may be wrong there! (I have very small wrists and so always get a tail of about 8-9cm - in my experience a long tail flapping about is a real nuisance!)
You can see some of the straps laid out in cnet's gallery here if that helps get a judge of the hole spacing:

If it was me, I'd go for the small in the one with the options, but ymmv! (With fitbit's own straps, I've had family who've fit the small but been on the last 2 holes, they've swapped for large and preferred it)

Well that's right in the middle of small, so I'd think you could quite happily go for small for Fitbit's own bands (The large will fit you fine too I'd think, but you'd have a longer 'tail' to tuck in - you might prefer this). However third party ones' sizes don't run identically. Most will list a size range, e.g. 5.11"-7.68" (130mm-195mm), so you should probably measure the tape to the line and make sure it's within the listed range for any third party strap you want (I'm guessing that's about 165mm/6.49'').
(Personally I'd double check with a tape measure!)

@Terrafit thank you! it's exactly 16,5cm, you have a really good eye haha 🙂 so if the small wraps around to wrists up to 18cm, does the mean there's holes up to 18 cm and then a tail? I have an analog watch in that size which is a snuggly fit. I was planning to get two bands, one of them is onesize, which I don't mind, but the other one is a basic black silicone for which you have to pick sizes. Should I go for the small? The sizes for the selected band are 5,12 "-7,68" / 5,90 "-8,27".

@Terrafit Awesome, thank you for the help!! I usually prefer less of a tail, so I don't mind going for small. Thank you for clearing it up to me!!

I ordered my Versa through my Verizon they had none on display and I visited a few stores before going this route. One store wanted a return fee if i decided to return the watch. Verizon is giving me 14 days penelty free. prior to this i looked on amazon and saw the milanese style bands aka stainless steel. I knew these may have to be an option for me because I have Very sm wrists. fast forward after buying the watch Macy's has the Versa on display. and it's big on me; as suspected. time to make the Amazon order ;-/
